I am tired of disrespect. I am through with non- acceptance. Those who don't present an open mind shall be brushed aside like so much dust and foolishness. Let aspirants crawl on their knees in balance to my furious howls. If they cannot stand my lashings then let them flee like simple animals. I shall thrust the standards into Mount Nirvana. Simple tolerance and accepting patience shall be presented. When those approach and challenge me by their very being, I shall slay them where they stand with my criticism. Let them learn through dualistic clubbings and beatings. Let them see horror as they support my wrathful storm. I will prove that such tools are effective only when used against duality and that unborn mind cannot be assaulted. Let them assume value in my tirade and defensive superiority in one-mindedness. Let them set out for revenge by developing one- mindedness only to find assault contrary. Let them be destroyed by their efforts to conquer. Let them defeat themselves in efforts to set one elephant atop another. Let opposing elephants crush foolish jugglers into nonduality.
And what of me? Am I to fall likewise to their fate? Will I be crushed by my own intolerance? Intolerance of intolerance? Do I overestimate my one-mindedness that I am so resistant to their folly?
How can I present tolerance if I am not patiently accepting of intolerance? Who will defend focussed mentality? Who shall slay warriors of dualism? Shall they slay themselves? How long must I wait for them to do so?from "Mountain of Myst", by a taoist city monk (nagasiva yronwode) (!) copyright 1999
